Autism Speaks’ Interactive Digital Billboard

Autism Speaks and agency BBDO have leveraged Microsoft’s Kinect technology to create an interactive digital billboard that tracks your head and body movements and continually positions the head and eyes of a life-size girl on the screen accordingly, so that it looks like she’s avoiding eye contact, no matter how hard you try. The experience allowed Autism Speaks to help people understand how it must feel for an autistic child’s parents and to raise awareness on the signs of autism.
